Working with our 'supplier partners' we at Belmont have developed a refreshing and mutually benefical way of doing business.
Here are examples of how we work with our suppliers and how extra benefits are gained by taking an inclusive approach to the business relationship. We start our manufacturing process on the best possible footing by combining these benefits with our own considerable resources, therefore ensuring the highest standard of product and service to our customers.
Working together to drive for improvements in the supply chain we are building in new efficiencies and time savers in both our operations. Each of our supplier partners has a wealth of knowledge and experience that can be brought into the Belmont operation to help us become even more efficent and productive.
Once a competitive price and an indexing system is established all emphasis is on what advantages our supplier can bring to our operation and how we can work together to take un-necessary cost out of our trading procedures.
EXAMPLE. We encourage our suppliers to 'audit' our systems and procedures to ensure full synchronization with the suppliers systems. With regular update sessions to continue the drive for improvement.

Laserline Dies Ltd are one of the UK’s leading die-makers to the corrugated and carton board industry, supplying flatbed corrugated / carton dies and rotary tooling. Laserline Dies were introduced to Belmont Packaging back in 2003 with a new installation of an Asahi AP 1600 MK II automated die cutting and creasing machine.

Norbrook Direct Ltd has been providing IT services to Belmont since July 2005. At that time Belmont asked us to review the existing I.T infrastructure at their site and to draw up a roadmap for future development.
